How this works
Why seven questions and not one
Most “POS finders” ask for your trade and return the same four machines to everyone in it. The trade is the weakest of the seven signals below.
- CountersSets the quantities. Almost every mistake we see in a quote is a quantity, not a model.
- Customers a daySets the screen size and whether the kitchen gets a printer or a display. Volume, not trade, is what strains a counter.
- StaffDecides table-side ordering and whether per-user rights are worth the setup.
- OutletsDecides whether the item master is kept once or kept several times, which is a software question with a hardware bill.
- Weight and barcodesDecides scales and label printers — the two things most often left out of a first quote.
- Existing softwareFour common packages are Windows-only. That single answer removes seven machines from the catalogue.
Being straight about it
What it will not do
It will not tell you what your counter costs. It cannot: the same 15-inch terminal is a different number with an i3 instead of a J1900, in a quantity of one instead of four, with installation in Karol Bagh instead of Noida. A configurator that guessed would be arguing with the quote before we had written it.
It will not replace a look at your counter either. We measure before we quote, because a 21-inch terminal that does not fit the space is not a bargain. What this page does is get the conversation to start at the right place — with a list you have already read and can already argue with — instead of at the beginning.

Frequently asked questions
It is the same reasoning our engineers use on the phone, written down. Every machine it returns says which of your answers put it there, so you can disagree with any single line rather than having to accept or reject the whole list. If you think it is wrong, it might be — send it to us and say so.
Because we do not know them until we know your counter. The same terminal is a different number with a different processor, in a different quantity, with or without installation. Send the list and you get an itemised quote, usually the same day, with a GST invoice.
Usually yes. Printers, scanners, drawers and scales are mostly standard; the question is the interface and the driver. Send us the model numbers with your list and we will tell you what carries over, in writing, before you spend anything.
Good. The commonest mistake at a counter is buying a machine for a problem you do not have yet — a kitchen display for twelve covers, a kiosk for a shop with no queue. Everything here adds on later without replacing what you already bought.
Pick the closest one and send us the list with a note. We have installed counters in trades that are on none of these six tiles, and the machines are usually the same; it is the software build that differs.
Yes, and it changes the answer. Both are Windows-only, so choosing either rules out every Android machine in the catalogue and the configurator will not offer you one. We confirm your exact version in writing before you pay.
